My rule breaking … Because of my love for seeing both black & white and color side by side, I’m doing both. And…Instead of challenging someone new each day, I want all of you who are interested in this challenge to take it up, join us having fun, and maybe break the rules a bit! Hi Lisa, What sort of butterfly is that? I had a similar one in my garden about 10 years ago which in England is called a Camberwell Beauty. It’s only seen quite rarely in England so it was very exciting and I managed to get a photo!

Hi Michelle, I believe we call them Mourning Cloaks and Camberwell Beauty. They are quite beautiful. That is wonderful you were able to capture a photo. I was gardening and this beauty kept posing, I couldn’t resist.

We have just begun to revamp our firms design website, laurelbledsoedesign.com and are using a mix of black/white and color in project photos. I do think it is more interesting to do both. Love your 7 day examples!-laurel
