The world of clip art has endless possibilities for creativity. Invitations, greeting cards, wall art, transfers, it’s limitless. Some of the best works come from the 1800’s public domain. I have been collecting some damaged pieces, actually I am like a chipmunk collecting a feast for winter. Anyone who lives in a snowbelt area can understand why :)It’s always incredibly rewarding to make something old and unusable into something new again.
I hope to be changing up my shop to include some of these pieces. I am adding commercial clipart so that others can use these in their own art. If you are a crafter or artist looking for unique clipart please feel free to message me. Or need a blog logo, I’d love to help you create something you are looking for.
Be on the look out for freebies here. Please feel free to click on the image above and save it to your device. Looks great on recipe cards, or as a special botanical piece
Much love,
Lisa
I didn’t know a lot of artwork from the 1800s was in the public domain- that’s good to know!
