I know it’s not time yet. We haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving here in the States, but we are close. This year, I am just chomping at the bit to put some of my decorations out. Usually, I decorate the day after Thanksgiving. I don’t know if it is all the Hallmark movies, or the hiking in the snow, but I am ready to embrace the season.
I created the image above for a frame that I change the art out for the season. I am sharing this 8×10 Santa print for personal use. Click on the image to save to your device.
Are you preparing to decorate for the holidays?
Have a wonderful weekend and happy decorating!
Much love,
Lisa

Putting the Coca-Cola Santa aside, I have always loved vintage Santa art. For some reason it seems less commercialized figures. I can’t put my finger on it. Love this. Hugs & a blessed Thanksgiving.

I love this print. It is interesting that Santa is quite slim! I love Christmas too. We haven’t had cold weather yet, and there are still leaves on a lot of the trees, so I am not quite there yet, but looking forward to all the glister and sparkle. I have noticed I am baking a lot, enjoying nuts and spices and dried fruit. I love the nostalgia of Christmas. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and connected.

Thank you! I noticed many vintage Santas are slim, they need more cookies π. The leaves seem to be holding on longer this year. Baking feels good this time of the year, I miss it in the warm months. The nostalgia is the best part. You said it best, warm, fuzzy, and connected. πππ

Oooh! Saint Nicholas! That bag looks awfully small. There must have been a lot of very naughty children the year that piece was drawn!

That made me laugh! Yes, there must have been many naughty little ones that year or the original artists believed in very tiny gifts π Hugs!

Very vintage ! I’m not quite ready for the decorations yet. I usually leave it to mid December. For some reason, I am really looking forward to Christmas this year – not long to go !!

Not long to go at all. It kind of snuck on in quite quickly. It feels like Autumn just started. π

I will decorate the house in about two weeks. I have not seen the past fall ???? Oh wait, maybe that’s because it only lasted three weeks in Quebec !!! Fortunately, you’re here with your vintage art creations to remind me the joy of the holidays. Thank you Lisa.
