If you truly love Nature

Copyright Lismore Paper 2019

Today, I would have changed this beautiful quote that I treasure to, “If you truly love Nature you’ll forgive her.”

I woke just after 5 a.m. to the power going out. We had an ice storm with high winds and that is not very kind to the trees nor the powerlines. I thought we had lucked out, it came back up just after 8 a.m. but it was short-winded. LOL. It decided to go out again. Although the day was challenging without power, we expected the worst and were prepared.

Even though we are challenged by Mother Nature at times, the beauty of nature truly makes a mark on our souls. Thank you to all of the bee keepers out there. I truly love and respect what you do because without the bees, the beauty we enjoy would not exist.

Please feel free to use this for personal use.

I hope spring is upon us soon and all the bees can take flight.

Much love and hugs,

  1. This is beautiful. I can’t imagine experiencing an ice storm. I live in California and when it dips below 60 degrees that’s super cold!

    1. Thank you! California weather is definitely fantastic, 60 degrees sounds amazing! i think the best thing about where you live is the wonderful sunshine. I have lived in Michigan my entire life and I still take ice storms seriously. 😊

  2. Oh, Lisa. I have experienced what you went through a few times. It’s amazing how, during those times, nature reminds us of how “powerless” we are. Lol. Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself. Hoping you stay hooked-up consistently now. Warm hugs from Texas. -Alan

  3. One of my favorite quotes, as it’s so true! You can tell a lot about a person by this quote, I think anyway.

The bees are working away in CA. Hopefully they can do what they do by you soon. Your weather seems particularly extreme this year. There’s a gentleman on FB that lives in No WI and he’s having a heck of a time getting unburied. He’s also been out leaving food around for wild animals. Four days til Spring! Hopefully it’ll bring lots of warmth your way.🌸
