Carolina Larkspur Botanical Print

I discovered this beauty while going through a book called, A Guide to Wildflowers. The best part is this image is on the public domain. It would make a beautiful sign, journal cover, jewelry, or as hanging art.

This is a slender perennial with unbranched stems. White to pale blue, spurred flowers in a narrow cluster on a finely downy stalk. Leaves are divided and lobed into narrow segments. Basal leaves often form a winter rosette type bloom which withers before the flowers open. Its resemblance to a horsemans spur. So very pretty in the wild.

  29. Hello sis. Just want to let you know that something might be wrong with WP. Firstly, I see an ads at the bottom of your post. I don’t recall ever seeing one before. Also, I noticed the mention: I am not following the blog, which is odd because of course I follow you. Will hit the follow button again and see what happen, ok. I wonder if there are ads that I don’t see on my blog as well. Could this be related to the WP upgrade you recently did? I like the new artwork by the way. Happy Sunday Lisa.

    1. I noticed I have unfollowed several blogs, too but of course didn’t. I think there is a WP issue. I have to make sure I am following you, Darren and all our wonderful WP friends. Thank you!
