It may be the Christmas Hallmark movies that have me in the Christmas spirit. I am fighting the urge to decorate. To my defense, it has snowed here three times in the last week leaving the feeling that winter may be around for a while.
It is the perfect opportunity to work on Christmas Post paper. I love to use this for little notes, art, and journal making. This particular piece is intended for journal use, crafting and notes at 3.5″ x 5″. Made with my favorite ephemera and water color plants. Hope to show you a project I am working on soon.
Anyone thinking of decorating early or have already?
Have a creative week!
Much love,
Lisa

I chuckled when I saw a post today where my oldest daughter, in her new house, had decorated the place for Christmas the day after Halloween. She went to the wall with it, too.
You chose my favorite Christmas plant…Holly with its red berries. So very much the season. I think I will forward this to her since she is up to her elbows in the trinkets.
Love to you from here. God’s grip – Alan

I love it! I bet it is fantastic π So wonderful she is in her new house.
The Holly seems to encompass Christmas. I love the red berry plants especially this time of year. Thank you, I hope she likes it. Love and big hugs! God bless!

Thank you Lisa. Christmas is already in our shops here in Ireland. This year it started before Halloween. The snow sounds lovely. x

This is gorgeous Lisa. I saw a post recently that said how those who decorate early are generally the happiest people. Sounds to me like you might be in that category! π

These are pretty, thank you Lisa. I was looking at my trees in the front yard yesterday and now I am ready to put up lights but I will wait of course. I still have Fall inside, at least until after Thanksgiving. Christmas is such a beautiful season it is really hard waiting to put out all those decorations.

Yugh. Sorry to hear about your snow. Nov. 1 – I have started to listen to Christmas music and read Christmas books. I hold off decorating until Dec. 1, however, the neighbour is alredy decked out.

I’m not a huge fan of Christmas but I have to say, this year, I am really in the mood for it. I’m not exactly sure why but I’d quite happily start decorating tomorrow…if my husband would let me ! π

Lovely Christmas paper. I have started to decorate a little bit but have to admit that, this year, I am not into the Ho! Ho! Ho! spirit. Not yet anyway. Thankfully, the kids are older now so I won’t have to freeze on the corner of the street to see the Santa Claus Parade. Oh my, I sound like a “Bah Humbug!” Lol
